I'm not sure, they never had a buffet when I was there but I think weekends
Yes.
11 am.
Only root beer.
No. Only at tribal casinos and hotels. Like at Twin Arrows East of Flagstaff, on hwy. Old 66 or i40.
My guess is this is a good as it gets in Tuba city. I had a hamburger which was good. Mom had pork chops which unfortunately were dry. The place clean and large and the taco bar looked great. Staff was nice and freindly
Food is good... but bad services have to wait along time to get serves
Eggs were horrible, service slow, had to ask for menus and to get order taken, onions were raw in the breakfast skillet. Pancakes were good though, and when we finally got a server he was very nice, so 2 stars. If we weren't eating there because we were staying in the hotel, we would have left.
Less options for vegetarians hence the 3 star or else it's very good
This experience was extremely disappointing. There were flies at our booth. Our food took forever to come out. It was missing the fry bread and chili. The mashed potatoes were COLD. My steak that was supposed to be medium was at least medium-well if not well. We asked simple questions about options that they couldn't answer. The waitress didn't check on us AT ALL.We just paid and left. I gave them $60 (including tip) and couldn't even eat half of my meal. I'm happy to support the locals but I wouldn't go back again.
Good was delicious! Very unique atmosphere. I'll return even I'm in the area again.
Not a great place to eat if it wasn't free. Coffee was extremely burnt and staff are either overwhelmed or unhappy with their work. Cashier was nowhere in sight and service was slow. Food was typical cafeteria quality. We received a free meal via the quality in-- Something in itself is 5 stars worthy. If I had to pay for this meal I would have been sorely disappointed as the meal was 1 star.
The food was just okay. The decor is pretty. It seems like a lot of locals come here so that is cool. My server didn’t seem to friendly but I don’t know.. people didn’t seem happy here in general including the patrons :/
Dinner last night and breakfast this AM, both outstanding.
Good food. Service is decent
Try the Navajo taco it was excellent and huge, enough for 2.
Mutton stew was a bit rugged, very little flavor. However, the breakfast was very good.
I tried the soup and bar. The salad had a lot of choices. The soup’s were very good. The green chili soup was full of flavor. The chili’s are not overpowering.
The southwest combination needs improvement like the enchilada should be ground beef not only chicken, tortilla needs to be warmed up more and ruce/beans was good. The opened roast beef was salty and coleslaw was very tasty. The restaurant and staffs dud well.
Had breakfast, and was hungry..Food was good ,and our waitress was nice to keep checking on us
Food was amazing, great variety, AMAZING SERVICE by Ernest and his Partner.Highly recommend this place if you are passing through 😊.
Good burgers, steaks are small for the price even if it is Navajo beef or not. Otherwise it's good food and good service
I always get the Baja burger in fry bread here. Its amazing everytime, crisp bacon and great fry bread.
Family Friendly and Delicious food. Where the locals come to eat... yummmmmm
Horrible service, we were ignored practically the whole time and the restaurant was practically empty. I ordered a burger, and the food took forever to come out, and the burger was so dry I sent it back. Got a new one immediately and it was even worse. Continued to get ignored until we finally walked up to pay at the counter. The manager was nice but unfortunately the damage was done.
Good food. I found the service a little slow but a nice place for good dinner.
Nice place good food. Friendly people
This is one of two sit down restaurants in Tuba City. The rest are fast food. The menu selection is pretty good, from traditional local favorites to regional and burgers, etc. Free drink refills, local history and art work. Staff is alright, friendly, attentive, but need to take time to listen.
Good comfort food options, spicier than expected but tasty, and service was quick. Unexpectedly good cheesecake :)
We went for breakfast and it was good! Coffee was strong and service was great.
Delicious family diner, excellent service and at very reasonable price :-)
Country Fried Steak had very watery gravy, This place is hit and miss sometimes. The Gravy made everything soggy and you didn't have to chew much.
This is a really great restaurant food was excellent wait staff very attentive just an all around great place if you get the chance to visit Tuba City rather you're staying or just passing through stop and eat here you won't be disappointed.
I met my buddy at the restaurant. He had already ordered when I arrived. The waitress told me that it would be a long wait before I got my food if I wanted to order because a large group kust arrived; so I told her never mind I'll eat somewhere else. She was disappointed that I did not want to order and wait for a long time to get my food; she kept asking me if I was sure. My buddy shared his food with me so I can say that the food is good. I'm just not so sure about the service. After all, why would they discourage people from ordering?
Fantastic Service! Nice, Professional and kind staff. Food was yummy and the salad bar had great choices. Call ahead for times the salad bar will be taken down. Thank you for a great meal.
Local restaurant serving some Navajo dishes.Lightly salted simple dishes. Volume of dishes were not bad. If you want to have normal American or Mexican food, it would be better for you to visit other fast food restaurants. Not bad, not so good.
1st time here in well over 15 years. Hasnt changed much and service and food were great!
Terrible. I lived in Tuba City for a month working at the local hospital. Do not go to this restaurant. It's over priced, and the food is below average. It touts itself as serving Native American food. It's just sub-par Americanized food. If you really want good Native American food, you either go to the flea market in town (sorry I'm not exactly sure when it's open, but it's far better and has really good food), or go to the Cameron Trading Post restaurant which is 25 minutes south. That place serves more legit Native American food. But whatever. If you really want a good place to enjoy food in Tuba City, either go to the Sushi food truck next to the Chevron gas station (it's only open like 3 days a week; just google "sushi tuba city" and find the dude's FB page to see when he's open; it's actually legit), or go to Denny's or Taco Bell or Subway. sorry, there's not a whole lot of other options in Tuba City.
Idk if one likes food. Expectations should not deter. Rub shoulders with the locals and wish one was back home.
Huge portions of Navajo tacos and burgers. Really could order one taco between 2 people. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Affordable prices.Very kind staff. This place was busy when our family stopped in around 1130am. Decent amount of parking. I was able to park our RV in the lot. Nearby hotel and museum within walking distance.
It's ok I enjoyed the soup and salad bar.
The south west burrito was so 👍 good
Lamb stew had no meat in it. Pork chops were over cooked on a grill that had not been cleaned.Servers were great.Over priced.
Lack of flavor and poor service
Only got some fries to go, which were pretty mediocre diner style fries. The place looked clean and the staff looked friendly. The cashier was very helpful and VERY friendly. He helped me get my order and got me out the door! A local favorite of mine.
Very friendly atmosphere, my food was hot and tasty. Had a great lunch
Friendly service and great food in a beautiful and relaxed setting, ahe'hee!
Fantastic authentic local food. Great service.
Food was okay, service a d friendliness was great. We were on a cross country trip which started in Atlanta. Picked up souvenirs here.
Good and bad.First for the bad. The 1st server was less than kind when she heard we only wanted water. The second was extremely nice but very slow. My son was halfway done eating his burger (he isn't a fast eater) before my daughter got her tortillas and plate for her meal. All in all the food was good; the salad bar was exceptional but the ranch bland. I wouldn't say exceptional for the rest but we all left full and it was nice to enjoy a family meal on the road. The bill was a bit of a shock, they automatically added 18% gratuity onto our check. It's Christmas and we would have left a generous tip but an automated 18% capped her tip for us. Limited options in this town as Denny's is closed but plan lots of extra time for a visit here.
Good food. Good service on a saturday afternoon.
Order a large drink, servers usually don't refill. My friend who drinks coffee, waited for awhile before he had another cup. Otherwise, good comfort foods, and buffet available. They have a "picnic tray" that freaked me out on the menu that could easily feed two or more, and comes in a full foil pan! Weekly specials, and good parking. Nice atmosphere. Clean restrooms, and hotel, historic trading post, Code talker exhibit, and Native museum nearby. Seattle coffee and computer hub next door. Great service.
I saw signs on the highway for mutton stew and was looking forward to trying it. Sadly the reality didn't live up to the hype and the stew was terrible. There were some very few pieces of bland boiled mutton in the stew, and it looked like they just opened a can of mixed vegetables and heated then up in the water they were canned in. There was no flavor to the broth at all. Mutton is such a flavorful meat this should have been awesome but instead it was terrible. The staff was nice and the frybread they served with it was fantastic so it wasn't a total loss.
Disappointing. Service was so slow another patron fell asleep at her booth. Staff could use customer service training. They seemed meh about their job. I had to ask 3x for a coffee refill. Waited nearly an hour for food. Portions are large but the food isn't anything special. Overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it and I don't think I'll stop there again. The interior decor is lovely though.
There was only one server for the whole restaurant I felt bad for her. And the vegetables were terrible. Baked potato was good.
